This July I photographed Kyle and Angel's wedding on family land in Missouri. It was my first wedding during the post-COVID times, but it could not have been a sweeter and more beautiful day. Angel's sister-in-law put together all of the gorgeous decorations and Angel even created her own bouquet. The couple was overjoyed to be married and I could see, so clearly, the love they had for each other.
The day was made even more special for me because I got to photograph this wedding with my momma! Normally I book weddings in Savannah or in the Southeast area, but this time I second shot for my mom, who is also a photographer in the Greater Kansas City area. I was so thankful for a chance to work together and capture such a beautiful wedding at the same time.
I would sum up this wedding with this quote by Ralph Waldo Emerson: "Never lose an opportunity of seeing anything beautiful, for beauty is God's handwriting."
